Anna Jean Cummings County Park in Soquel has one large picnic pavilion area split into two sides, Picnic Area A and Picnic Area B, or as a combined group Picnic Area AB. Both sides each have a large barbecue grill and are close to playgrounds, permanent restrooms, and lawn areas. The park also has sports fields and trails on the upper bench of the park. We recommend booking early to get a reservation at this popular picnic area!

1451 30th Avenue, Live Oak

Brommer Street County Park in the Live Oak neighborhood has a covered pavilion picnic area available for reservation. The picnic area has a barbecue grill and nearby permanent restrooms. The picnic area is located near a lawn area, playground, and basketball/tennis/pickle ball courts. This picnic location is easy to access and centrally located!

Graham Hill Rd at Mount Hermon Rd, Felton

Felton Covered Bridge located in Felton features one reservable picnic area under the beautiful trees and near the historic covered bridge.  Felton Covered Bridge Park offers a large playing field and playground.   Host a birthday party or family gathering while enjoying the proximity of the river and the history of this unique park. 

8500 Highway 9, Ben Lomond

Highlands County Park in Ben Lomond has one picnic area available by reservation. This picnic area has no covered picnic pavilion and is in the lower region of the park. Highlands Park offers a large playground with nearby river access, tennis courts, skate park and a large lawn area on the upper grounds. Nearby trails make a great adventure for any planned birthday party scavenger hunts or for a stroll to enjoy the beauty of the San Lorenzo Valley.

Jose Ave, Santa Cruz, CA

Jose Avenue County Park in the Live Oak neighborhood has a covered pavilion picnic area available for reservation. The picnic area has a barbecue grill and nearby permanent restrooms. Jose Avenue Park features a skate park, community gardens, a basketball court, playground, public art, and abundant lawn area. This park has a lovely pedestrian bridge at the El Dorado St entrance that overlooks a creek.

757 Green Valley Road, Watsonville

Pinto Lake County Park near Watsonville has two picnic pavilions with grills and electricity. The pavilions are located in the beautiful park adjacent to Pinto Lake. There is plenty for family and friends at this large park, including a playground, bike pump track, dog park, public art, fishing pier, sports fields, disc golf, and trails. Explore the trails, enjoy soccer games, bird watching, or just walk the large expanse of the park.

3101 Freedom Blvd, Watsonville

Scott County Park along Freedom Blvd near Watsonville, has a brand new picnic pavilion. This quaint, tucked-away park is a great place to relax out of the city limits, but close enough to gather all your close friends for a lovely picnic or celebration. Scott Park has a playground, and beautiful lawn areas.
